Job Description :
As the War Room Manager within our Operations and Strategy department at TOPOP, you will hold a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the operations of the war room or command center during political campaigns. You will manage strategic coordination, communication, and decision-making processes in a fast-paced, dynamic campaign environment, contributing to the success of political clients and candidates by ensuring efficient campaign operations and rapid response to emerging challenges.
Responsibilities :
- Establish and manage the war room, ensuring smooth and efficient operation, including logistics, technology, and personnel.
- Coordinate with campaign teams to align messaging, strategy, and tactics, ensuring synchronized and cohesive efforts.
- Oversee collection and dissemination of real-time political information, providing timely updates to key stakeholders.
- Develop and execute contingency plans to address potential crises, leading rapid response efforts in collaboration with crisis communications teams.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions, collaborating with data analysts and field teams.
- Allocate resources, including personnel and technology, based on campaign needs, optimizing resource deployment for maximum impact.
- Ensure all activities within the war room comply with campaign regulations and ethical standards, upholding a culture of ethical conduct and confidentiality.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Communications, or related field.
- Years of experience in political campaign operations and management, including war room experience.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in crisis management and contingency planning.
- Collaborative mindset to work with diverse campaign teams and stakeholders.
- Commitment to ethical campaign practices and confidentiality.
