Job Description :
As the Operations Lead within our Operations and Strategy department at TOPOP, you will hold a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the political consultancy. Your role will involve managing resources, processes, and personnel to ensure smooth campaign execution and strategic alignment, ultimately contributing to the success of political clients and candidates by efficiently managing operational aspects of the consultancy.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee and streamline the operations of the consultancy, ensuring efficient resource allocation and maintaining operational processes and protocols.
- Allocate and manage resources, including personnel and technology, for campaign operations, optimizing resource deployment for maximum impact and cost-efficiency.
- Lead and mentor operational teams, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability within the operations teams.
- Continuously review and enhance operational processes to maximize efficiency and productivity, implementing best practices to support broader campaign objectives.
- Develop and execute contingency plans to address potential crises or operational challenges, leading rapid response efforts in collaboration with crisis management teams.
- Ensure that all operational activities adhere to campaign regulations and ethical standards, upholding a culture of ethical conduct, confidentiality, and inclusivity.
- Assist in managing and optimizing the campaign budget, monitoring expenses, and ensuring adherence to financial targets.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Two years of experience in operational management, preferably within political campaign operations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions in a fast-paced campaign environment.
- Proficiency in budget management, resource allocation, and process optimization.
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with a commitment to ethical campaign practices and inclusivity.
